A bilingual article by Alistair Nicholas on Chinese investment in Australia has been published in the latest edition of Higher View Business, a magazine that is carried on China Eastern Airlines flights between China and Australia.
The article, which was originally written in June of this year is particularly relevant following the Federal Government’s recent decision to block two Chinese bidders from investing in Ausgrid, a power distribution company being sold by the New South Wales State Government.
An earlier version of the article appeared on this blog on 4 July under the title “Chinese investment in Australia a game of cards”. It can be viewed here.
The Higher View Business article, which has been slightly revised, is available online here, pages 42-45.
The article outlines steps Chinese companies seeking to invest in Australia could take to improve their chances of success.
